In this section, we’ll go over how Kitchn.io works and where to find what. But before we do this, let’s take a look at the small glossary of some concepts that we use throughout the tutorials.
Glossary
- Node - the smallest unit of the Kitchware, designed to do a specific function, f.e. filter data, fetch insights, or append spreadsheet.
- Automation - a sequence of nodes designed to achieve a specific goal, f.e. import data into a spreadsheet, increase the campaign budget or send a Slack notification about a disapproved ad.
- Recipe - a standard template of ready-to-use automation. You can copy-paste a JSON template of any recipe and customize it by inserting your variables, such as Facebook Account Id, days to schedule an automation on, or spreadsheet id.
- Integration - an API connection to an ad platform, tool, or software that allows Kitchnware to read out data, make changes or create new objects. You will have the same access as defined internally in the settings of ad platforms, tools, or software that you are integrating.

Integrations

To create an integration:
- Go to the Integration section.
- Click on the integration you want to create.
- On the top right corner, click on Connect button.
- Log into your account and follow the instructions.
